WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 17, 2026) – The Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS) is accepting presentation proposals for its 23rd National Summit on Education Oct. 15-17 2026 in Denver, Colorado. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2026. Details and the application form can be found at https://alasedu.org/call-for-presenters-denver-2026/.
The National Summit on Education is ALAS’ flagship leadership development and networking event for Latino administrators and those who serve at schools and districts that serve primarily Latino and other historically marginalized youth. The event provides leadership development, policy updates, and networking opportunities for aspiring administrators, principals, C-Suite level administration, superintendents and board members from across the country.
Registration for the Summit opens March 2, 2026. The Summit theme this year is “Elevating Excellence.”
“Leadership is an ongoing journey and our theme reflects that,” said ALAS Executive Director Ulysses “Uly” Navarrete. “Our Summit celebrates the expertise and the amazing work Latino and Latino-serving education leaders are already doing in their schools and districts, and provides them with opportunities to elevate their influence and take their leadership to the next level.”
How to Apply
ALAS is seeking proposals related to six topics:
- Strategic Influence
- AI/Technology
- Sophisticated Leadership
- Policy & Advocacy
- Talent and Workforce
- Well-being
The Summit is focused on addressing challenges in the education system, particularly those impacting Latino students. The sessions provide a forum for participants to learn from experts and peers, engage in meaningful discussions, and identify solutions and strategies that can be applied throughout the industry.
In addition, industry partners and sponsors have the opportunity to share successful implementations of their products and services with the education community. For information about how to become a partner or sponsor email operations@alas.edu.
“We’re seeking dynamic, informative presentations that will help attendees grow their leadership skills and navigate the challenges facing Latino and Latino-serving leaders,” said Navarrete. “Our ultimate goal is to elevate Latino leaders and improve education for Latino and other historically marginalized youth. Our National Education Summit provides a critical forum to do this.”
